Get to know me

After almost 10 years in the corporate world, I decided to follow my heart and train to become a funeral celebrant. I come from a background of training - engaging with hundreds of people a week, creating and delivering material that resonated, speaking with clarity, empathy, and confidence.

I learned how to listen carefully, understand people’s needs, and reflect their stories back with meaning. It has also given me strong communication and presentation skills — qualities that lie at the heart of funeral celebrancy.

My experience designing and structuring training sessions has given me the ability to plan and deliver ceremonies that are both well-organised and heartfelt.

Just as I supported learners in achieving their goals, I now support families in finding comfort and meaning as they celebrate a life.

Amongst my friends and family I am known for my warmth and compassion and I am very proud to be the person they go to for a chat and some support. My door is open and the kettle is on (decaf with oat milk for me).
